Nil Raucci Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence
in Medicine & Biotech

About me

With a background in Medicine and Surgery from the International Medical School of the University of Milan, I transitioned to a career in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence through self-directed learning and hands-on programming experience. Currently, I work in the R&D department at GMM Group, a leading manufacturer of X-ray machines, focusing on improving diagnostic capabilities and advancing patient care.

Background

Thanks to my medical background and programming expertise, I bring a unique blend of skills that enhance my effectiveness in both fields.

Languages

I develop models and prototypes in Python and use Rust or C++ to deploy them in production, often leveraging ONNX power.

Tools

I mainly use PyTorch and OpenCV to get my job done, but I'm confident with many libraries and know how to make reproducible builds.
